Half way through this bowl of first release Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Enjoying my weekly pipe zoom.

I emptied the scraps from my three drying trays to obtain a mix of Newminster 400 Navy Flake, Country Squire Cherokee and CS Old Toby, (mostly Cherokee though) into my Panter Giant Algerian Briar sitter basket pipe (which I believe was handcut by J. Waile of Lunel, France) 20mmx45mm chamber. A nice strong flavorful smoke.

I have never been able to find any info on Panter pipes and wonder if it was made for Panter Tobacco of the Netherlands by J. Waille.

Skulls are coming out of the woodwork...LOL
It's bound to happen—I have more than a dozen skull pipes, and I know @Chasing Embers has at least four. It was a coincidence that CE and I posted skull pipes today—I happened to decide to smoke Hogshead this afternoon and the Happy Skull is one that I've used for that blend.

Had a couple bowls of SWR in a Sav tre rusticated 626 and one in my AGovem billiard meer. Tried another bowl of cringle flake 2022 in my bent Louis cob. That pipe just loves va/pers. Probably the best smoke I’ve had from that blend. It started off tangy and spicy and then the cavendish sweetness really came through in the second half of the bowl.
