Just finished a bowl of We Three Kings in a meer. I actually got a rare compliment from my wife on the room note as I walked in the house - "Christmas-y" she said. This blend has grown on me now that it's been open a couple weeks. It's a good, lightly topped, aromatic Va/Or blend.

Smoking Capstan in a Country Gentleman and sipping hot cocoa. Taking the wife, Mother in law, and one of her friends out for a tour of neighborhoods to see the Christmas lights as soon as I finish this bowl.

Smoking some Boswells Titus English blend. I find this blend a little light on flavor, so I’ve added a half a gram each of Blk Cavendish, Izmir Turkish and Premium Burley To a gram of the Titus.

Every once in awhile, I pay tribute to my late father, and have some Cherry Borkum Riff (I know, I know) in one of my dedicated aromatic pipes, in this case, a Half Skull Briar figural pipe by Oguz Simsek. The chamber width is 13/16" to give you an idea of scale.

Yes. And "navy" tobacco seems appropriate in a ship pipe. I didn't really care for this flake at first. But I jarred it for a year, and now I like it a lot.
