I think that like meerschaum pipes clays look better with a little colour on them, just my opinion.
Do you know how long people have been using Cherry Wood pipes for tobacco, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were around during your favourite period in history, they smoke really well too and they’re cheap as chips on eBay.

Starting the day with Black Frigate in the Kiko meer poker and large mug of Lavazza coffee. It’s a mild day here and I’m headed out for a bike ride on the South Downs after this.

You have good taste! I come from the city of Lavazza and that is what coffee should be for me. Not that dirty Swiss water/mud that most people drink nowadays.

Solani ABF in a Trypsis bent acorn. The local B & M burley blend I smoked yesterday absolutely wreaked havoc on my mouth. Like I've had fairly mild tongue burn before but this is like my whole mouth is messed up. Yikes. Kinda screwing up an otherwise perfect morning of one of my favorite pipes with my favorite blends and a cup of my favorite coffee.

My oldest daughter brought me a fist full of different Kristoff cigars for my birthday. I asked her what made her pick out Kistoff brands, and she said that she asked the guy to help her pick out cigars for a guy who likes them strong enough to kill mere mortals, haha. I love that girl. And, kudos to her for picking up a couple of Corojo Limitadas for the mix.
