Gawith Hoggarth & Co Broken Flake # 7 into a meerschaum pipe with Lady grey on the side .
Just finished smoking year 2007 Astley’s No. 109 in a smooth brown straight circa 1950s-60s BBB Contrast 506 Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
A quarter of the way through this bowl year 2012 Carter Hall in a black rusticated medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 437/500 military mount with a silver cap and a vulcanite black tapered AB stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of Watch City Simply VOriental in a straight smooth medium brown 1930s Wilshire 5 bulldog (Comoy’s second) made for John’s Pipe Shop in Los Angeles with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Fed Suzy and Molly and two feral cats.

Yes I have smoked St Bruno in the clay pipe.
Started the night with some 2008 Escudo and ended it with some Plum Pudding.

Half way through this bowl of year 2010 Amphora Original (Brown) in a 1990s slight bend black Sasieni 4 Dot Ruff Root Dark 4 Dublin with a black vulcanite saddle stem. This will end my smoking day.

I’m sure that if those Redcoats were around today they’d be all over C&D and GLP blends, with their meagre pay they would be snapping up SP’s bulk blends.
Who produced that blend? It sounds lovely judging by the tin description, is it still available today?
@Birddog66 I like the look of those Jamestown clays and will have to make another pipe video when I receive them. Got 2 on order but will keep one unsmoked as it's a shame to smoke a clean white pipe!!!

I think that like meerschaum pipes clays look better with a little colour on them, just my opinion.
Do you know how long people have been using Cherry Wood pipes for tobacco, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were around during your favourite period in history, they smoke really well too and they’re cheap as chips on eBay.

Starting the day with Black Frigate in the Kiko meer poker and large mug of Lavazza coffee. It’s a mild day here and I’m headed out for a bike ride on the South Downs after this.
