Just finished smoking year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This is going to be a busy day.

A third of the way through this bowl of Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark brown medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a vulcanite black tapered AB stem. This was the blend Basil Rathbone smoked. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

The last smoke of this Burley Flake in my Bamboo Stannie.
I will keep the tin though, for toting bulk blends. It just fits perfectly into a shirt or jacket pocket.

@cosmicfolklore Good idea to re-use the tin; you're taking a page from my book!
Cleared 2 big bags of rubbish today; getting some plastic bottles refilled this weekend as I'm buying some washing up liquid, hand wash, bubble bath and Cadbury chocolate powder from the zero waste stall on Chesterfield market. I re-use pipe baccy pouches for clay pipe storage - definitely doing my bit for the environment!!!

I recently participated in a secret santa gift exchange in the Virtual Pipe Club... and it was a great idea. I got two blends that I likely would never have bought on my own. Cascadia's Downwind and Vertical Limit. I'm smoking Vertical Limit right now from my little Georg Jensen Goodwill. Great smoke, kind of reminiscent of Peterson' 3P's. I very rarely smoke Virginia/Burley blends, but I always enjoy them when I do. This one is nice and strong. It could use a tad bit more sweetness IMO, but other than that... great stuff.
