He’ll hang out with me when I smoke but doesn’t like to travel - tried that. Made it half a block and he bailed. My wife takes the cats to the vet, thankfully.

Only had a short window to smoke, so I loaded half a flake of Capstan Blue into my Savinelli 105 petite billiard. Cool foggy morning here in Oakland today.
Close to finishing this bowl from a freshly opened first production tin (2013) of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.
More Solani 633, this time in a lizard skin Club pipe. Sometimes when I’m smoking this blend I wonder why I smoke anything else, it’s just that good.

How does this pipe smoke? I grew up reading and adoring SH stories. Would love to own a pipe like this to rekindle my childhood memory.
Did a set of walking reps on this warm, sunny day, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite stem.
Now smoking Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark brown medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a vulcanite black tapered AB stem. This was the blend Basil Rathbone smoked. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Getting ready to clean a few pipes as I wait for Mad Dog Russo's show at the top of the hour.
