Thank you. Found this on eBay several years ago. It was listed as unsmoked in the original box. I was afraid it was counterfeit. Corresponded with Fred Bass to get his opinion. He thought it was real and gave me his opinion on a fair price. Made my bid and ended up winning! For some strange reason the bidding closed at 3 AM on a Saturday morning. Needless to say I didn’t stay up to see if I won. So I wasn’t aware I had won until later Saturday morning.

Half way through this bowl of year 2014 HU Directors Cut in a smooth straight Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Chatting with the fella who gifted me the pipe.
