That’s lovely, 10/6 (ten shillings and sixpence) is the equivalent of 52 and one half pence (75cents ish) in old money.

Thank you. This is my favorite shapes for flake tobacco and while I own few pipes of this shape that are far more...prestigious, this is the one I reach for the most. It didn’t quite cost me 75 cents, but it was close. ?

About a third of a bowl left of D&R Penhooker Silver in a 2015 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend tomato military mount with an aluminum accent, Woolly Mammoth horn ferrule, and cumberland p-lip stem. This may get me to dinner time.
