I find the bite is gone but the wonderful honey and floral notes have diminished greatly.

A third of the way through this bowl of KBV Festivus 2021 in a late 50s, early 60s Comoy’s straight smooth dark brown Deluxe 20 billiard with a silver cap military mount and a black vulcanite tapered stem. First time smoking this blend and pipe, too. I had my eye on this pipe ever since I saw it, and am happy to own it. Ice water and bergs is my drink on very cold, windy, sunny day.

I’ll see what six months does to it, there’s plenty of flavour under the bite so it would a shame if I can’t find a balance.
