Working on some Royal Yacht in a MM Cob. Trying to find a combo of tobaccos that work for me during the day so I can kick the coffin nails for the new year. Strong pipes and maybe a bit of snus.
A quarter of the way through this bowl of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Amazing that the sun is out and it's warm today. Doesn't look like Winter at all.
A third of the way through this bowl of Low Country Natural Virginia & Burley in a brown straight smooth Paul Perri billiard with a black acrylic tapered stem.
MacBaren HH Pure Virginia in a Lane-era Charatan's Make 71X with what I presume is a replacement, extra-long saddle stem (I like the length it adds). Shape reminds me of the Sixten Nefertiti.
The HH is smoking well down here in the shop, while sleet pelts the metal roof without relent.
Enjoyed a tasty lunch and am part way through this bowl of Watch City Rouxgaroux in a 1984 three quarter bend medium brown Ascorti KS Business Dublin with a black acrylic saddle stem. Listening to Paul Henning, creator of The Beverly Hillbillies, talking about writing for the Fibber McGee and Molly radio show, and for Burns and Allen radio and TV shows.
