@Phiredog I really enjoyed it too. I thought it was really well balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. I don't smoke English blends often but I'll definitely be picking some up!

On the menu for my commute home was a delightful bowl of GH&Co Kendal Mixed loaded in my nameless French paneled pipe with a plain water on the side.

Hope you all had a great day!

Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of Ken Byron Ventures Mr. Christian’s Brown Flek 2021 in a smooth brown full bend 1984 Peterson Mark Twain military mount egg with a silver cap and tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Daisy the Feral Princess and Harry the Hairy went out. Sleepy Suzy wants to eat again. She's eating more than usual today. The Red Sox haven't taken advantage of all the walks and errors that the Yankees have made tonight. It's 4-3 Sox in the 8th.

I took the day off and slept in and have done very little so far today, all part of enjoying the completion of another successful orbit.
The next step in my enjoyment of the day is of course a wonderful smoke with my little friends, in an awesome pipe-some C&D XXV Dawn in a Roush Poker.
Grateful every day…

Hamborger Veermaster in a wonderful 1911 Pete that was expertly restored by Ryan Alden. The grafted the original amber stem remnants with whatever dairy dust and viola, magic. Forever grateful he took on this project
Now that’s a pipe I could only imagine owning because I’m sure it would be like looking for a needle in a haystack

A third of a bowl left of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a late '80s, early 90s small bend medium brown smooth, unbranded Nording pot with a couple of small rusticated spots, an amber colored acrylic ferrule and tapered stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink. It's time to feed the ferals.

C&D Exclusive/Derringer 2:1 in a Kaywoodie whose stampings only match its stummel shape (8751 with a push stem. The clouds in the distance turned into a heckuva dust storm that just blew through.

Hoping the wind dies down enough to step outside and have a smoke after a wonderful Bday dinner of Mediterranean Asada (flank steak marinaded in balsamic, evoo, garlic etc).
Grateful every day!IMG_5640.jpeg
