Relaxing after a wonderful salad, mahi mahi and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries dessert. I'm near the last quarter of this bowl of 2023 KBV Roman Legion in a 1935 small, straight smooth dark brown Irish Free State K&P (Peterson) billiard with a silverish cap military mount and tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Harry the Hairy's been inside all day, snoozin' mostly, playing a little, and asking for a bit of attention every so often. Daisy the Feral Princess ate and ran. Tomato the Brave did the same, but he wanted a head scratch first. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Molly Danger is on m'lady's lap.

I've found that my petes, especially the smaller one, take extremely well to Lats. Looking forward to doing the same with my as yet unsmoked (it has to wait for it's turn. . . . ) small Peterson Tavern Pipe, Rhodesian bowl. Expecting excellence from this one.

My big pete system standard also smokes Lats great, but because of it's large capacity, I re-biased it for aros and use it often for evening movies with friends, where I don't have to get up and reload after a mere hour. Peterson fan I am.

Nightcap is a dynamite tobacco, and it gets the royal treatment in my home with the L'il Pete. Wish I had more, but this is Canada, you know.

That's a marvellous pipe, btw. :)👍👍
Thanks Gord, you know this little 103 has long eluded a designated class of tobacco and it took me a long time to figure out where it needed to be. I also have a larger Pete dedicated to aromatics, and it works like a charm. Let me know how the tavern pipe works out for you!

A little more than halfway through a pipe of Old Joe Krantz in a Comoy Everyman Billiard. Needed to smoke something besides Sun Bear for a spell. Nice nightcap for the weekend, there's never enough time to do all the nothing I want to do but so it goes.

I can't remember when I got this bag either but it feels like it's got some age on it too, even though Old Joe is stout it's got a nice smoothness to it. Hope y'all had a good weekend yourselves!

Not far from finishing this bowl of first release Watch City Rhythm & Blues in a black sandblasted straight 1998 XXX Ashton Pebble Grain lovat with a black acrylic saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. I haven't posted many photos of Molly Danger because she often looks irritated when I snap a pic of her. As Molly has gotten older, she always has a serious look on her face. Like some cats, she hates having her picture taken, but I got this one a couple of minutes ago. Below it is a photo of when Molly was about a year old, and trying to "help" m'lady weave a basket.
