I agree with that sentiment and I'm in the same boat: only 3 tins left in the cellar. 'Tis what 'tis. Several of the great burleys have met a similar fate, it seems. I've been going back and revisiting a few that i used to smoke regularly over a decade ago with nostalgic interest.Cobblestone Hiking is an incredible tobacco, if you can find it now. I have a few tins left. It gets even better with age.

You’re freaking me out, man, I was just looking at that tobacco right now. I’ll take this as a sign to pick some up the next time the spirit moves me.Hi all, I recently looked into Chacom Mixture No. 4, a Virginia/Perique flake crafted by Kohlhase & Kopp for Chacom. Cold-pressed for four weeks, it blends various Virginias (bright, orange, red, brown) with a touch of Perique for fruity spice. The tin note offers sweet hay, bready tones, and dried fruit (plum, fig) with a faint apricot or honey topping that fades fast. When smoked, it delivers creamy smoke with bright Virginia flavors (hay, citrus, bread) and mild Perique fruitiness and pepper. Mild to medium strength, it burns cool and slow with a pleasant room note—great for all-day smoking. Some compare it to Orlik Golden Sliced or Luxury Navy Flake, and there’s talk it might echo the old Caledonian #499. I recall Jim mentioned it in a thread but hadn’t tried it at the time. Curious to hear your thoughts!

Unfortunately this applies to Solani Aged Burley Flake and Wessex Burley Slice.I agree with that sentiment and I'm in the same boat: only 3 tins left in the cellar. 'Tis what 'tis. Really sorry to hear that, Bob. It must be a miserable experience. I see them often down in the barn and it is a wonder we don't hear of bites more frequently than we do. Hope your situation improves quickly.Dermatologist decided to refer me a surgeon. Going to need some serious cleaning out. Changed antibiotics. At this point, I’m ready to give up a chunk of my back to get rid of this mess. I’ve got some to spare.
Oz, that black tea and coconut wafers combination sure sounds delicious. I could almost taste them as I looked at the photos......A short break for a mug of black chai and a few coconut wafers. Those of you from Malaysia and Singapore will be familiar with these
