Really enjoying these blends that I picked up at Columbia Briarworks last week. This "Pete's Beard Blend" is a delicious English and I am truly enjoying it. This evening it is in my Bones bent with sparkling water (essence of Blackberry & Lemon) to drink.

Taking a break from beta testing, and have passed the half way mark of this bowl of year 2017 E-soterica Dorchester in a straight smooth dark brown octagonal paneled mid-60s-early 70s Corporate Era Barling 4945 London England T.V.F. billiard with a square shank and black tapered square stem. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Fed the ferals late this afternoon, and Harry the Hairy stayed inside to snooze on the couch.

This must be an older Pete.
I haven't seen a great blast like that on the new ones.
As seen on the one I just posted.
Maybe their higher grades have deeper blasts??

D&R Three Sails in a Vauen Patina for the drive home. The small grooves on this pipe are a magnet for the smallest bits from this shag cut. Who knows how long those things will be in there? Given how particular I can be about some other things in life, I am a little surprised (and grateful) that this doesn’t bother me at all.
