Last smoke of the month is drying on a paper towel, the final half-dozen coins of a jar of Mac Baren Vanilla Roll Cake, to be loaded shortly into an Al Pascia meerschaum billiard. This blend has never let me down, so long as I dry it adequately.

Bird report: California scrub-jay, House finch, California towhee, Steller's jay, American crow, Oak titmouse, White-breasted nuthatch, Mountain chickadee, Mourning dove, and Western bluebird.

The countdown to autumn begins in earnest! Happy weekend!!

Enjoyed a big and tasty banana split, and am smoking Ken Byron Ventures Jim’s Special Flake 2023 in a 1984 black rusticated full bend Peterson Mark Twain military mount egg with a silver cap and tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Perhaps i have a dull palate, but the licorice doesn't come across as distinctly licorice to me at all. I think the spice from the topping plays well with the perique element to make something quite unique. Tell you what, i like it, so if you put it on a future order and hate it, just pm me. I'll do a satisfaction-guarantee buy back program for yas. I wouldn't mind having another tin around anyway. ;)

Onto the afternoon programming...time to tune into a bowl of St James Flake in a Bellezia w/ horn.

Deal :) Maybe it would work for me as well then because I don't have the most discerning palate either. :)

I haven't disliked any HU tobacco blend yet. Trying out another new one now, just started a bowl of JU 52 in my new Viking Cosgun meer.

Almost half way through this bowl of year 2018 Solani 633 in a straight 1954 patent Dunhill 148 Group 3 black shell bulldog made for the France market with a black saddle vulcanite stem. The house temp went down from 96 to 79. It'll get cooler before long, though. Watching the Braves-Phillies game.
