How does Nashville County taste? Its on my list to order because of the burley.

Gonna try to get a review out of me, eh? :P

Tin Note: Graham cracker, hay, dark chocolate and very lighty floral.
Palate: Wood, leather, vegetal, spice.

I do recommend it. Very nice blend, as are many of Hans' offerings.

The licorice thing with Nashville County has scared me away. For some reason licorice as a flavoring disgust me every time I try it, especially with snus. I like licorice as it is though which is the odd part. If it came in a 50g tin I would probably have tried it.

Half way through this bowl of year 2021 first production Watch City Simply Orange Virginia in a black sandblast medium bend Peterson POTY 4AB No. 182/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. With help from a friend, I have somebody coming over to see if he can fix our air conditioner.

Perhaps i have a dull palate, but the licorice doesn't come across as distinctly licorice to me at all. I think the spice from the topping plays well with the perique element to make something quite unique. Tell you what, i like it, so if you put it on a future order and hate it, just pm me. I'll do a satisfaction-guarantee buy back program for yas. I wouldn't mind having another tin around anyway. ;)

Onto the afternoon programming...time to tune into a bowl of St James Flake in a Bellezia w/ horn.

I'm running a little low on tobacco so I decided to try the Sutliff Sweet Viirginia again. This time I took about 2-3 ounces out of the bag to dry out. I decided to use an old (30+) wooden La Flor Dominicana cigar box which had high cedar side walls. I dumped the tobacco in and leveled it out. When I loaded a pipe about 5 hours later I selected the tobacco that felt dry. Wow, much better and sweeter smoke than previous attempts. The bag note was definitely prunes like sniffing a can of Dole pitted prunes. I'm going to use this cigar box as a drying tray from now on. Its just the right size. about 2x6x8 guestimate.

Close to finishing this bowl of Peretti 00 in a straight black sandblasted circa 1950s Comoy’s Peterson’s made for Peterson, Ltd. in Wisconsin billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. We were very lucky to find somebody who changed out the capacitor in our air conditioner on a holiday weekend. Paid more than we would have on a weekday, but it's worth not having to wait until Tuesday, so I'm not complaining.
