Found time to enjoy another pipe yesterday after our hurling team was finished for the day, while I was watching the footballers.

What a great eye you have! I thought of it as a Peterson 302 for 20+ years until your comment. Checking, it is a Rovera Curva Bent Apple SYSTEM PIPE with a P-Lip. I recall being very happy with a recently (finally) broken-in 302 in the early 1990s, and was recently attracted to Rovera, which was doing something with the Ardor brand at the time, for rumored briar quality. I saw this pipe as leveraging all three names in one pipe for my growing assortment, but eventually associated it completely with Peterson's system pipes for obvious reasons. The break-in was fast and painless, compared to the Peterson 302 blast "twin" i had grown fond of. Thank you for bringing all this back to me 30 years later. Sorry for rambling.Looks like a Peterson 302 but the cap on the shank being flat and the regular push tenon are throwing me off. Is that what it is?
