@telescopes you don’t know how much I appreciate this post as I’ve been considering a 9mm Meer and going back & forth on it. That just made the decision for me.View attachment 332470
Lee Van Cleef Meerschaum, 9mm, with Boswells Northwoods - thx @Manawydan . There is a common problem with the 9mm sleeve on meers and that is that the threads can wear in the stummel. When this happens, there is almost know choice but to put CS glue on the 9mm sleeve and thread it back into the worn threads. Knowing what I know now, I would choose not to get a 9mm Meerschaum. Regardless, this is a beautiful LVC pipe.
