Lane 1-Q topped with Sutliffe match sunrise in the Vauen Olaf bent egg with 9mm charcoal filter while sitting in the shade saying my afternoon prayers.

I thought I saw a big black wasp stumbling across the driveway but it turned out to be a flying black ant dragging a much bigger dead brown spider. (I would have liked to have seen that epic battle). It got about 16 feet away and cached the spider under a dead leaf and flew off. It came back about a minute later and retrieved the spider and starting dragging it down the driveway. It got about 2 1/2 feet and catbird landed near it and gobbled up both. Moral of the story ? There will always be a need for fresh quality take out ! :ROFLMAO:

It's only August, but this evening I'm having a bowl of LJ Peretti Thanksgiving Day in a MM Diamondback. I recently posted about fall/holiday blends and a fellow member gifted me some Thanksgiving Day along with a couple other holiday blends, including a full tin! I've only been on this forum for a few weeks, but I've found the company to be top notch! 20230814_180223.jpg

M'lady and I were out running errands, and I eventually managed to smoke a bowl of year 2016 Sutliff 507-C Slices in a black sandblast PSB medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 228/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. First time I ever took a 4AB out of the house. Also had one of the most fun conversations with a total stranger who was a big baseball fan. M'lady patiently waited while we had a long chat.

Now, I'm a third of the way through this bowl of year 2012 Carter Hall in a black rusticated medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 437/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
