Enjoyed a wonderful salad, a two pound wild caught catfish and green beans dinner with a small bowl of Trader Joe's Banana Pudding ice cream for dessert. Wasn't sure how good that ice cream might be, but it's awesome with a ton of calories, so I only had a little bit. I'm off to the studio with a bowl of D&R Windsail in a smooth straight dark brown family era “Canadian” by Sasieni with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Will listen to the rest of ball game.

I don’t enjoy them much, I mean I think I’m allergic but I like the taste just not the after affects, I wanted someone else to try it and you did so thanks! 😂

Well, we all know you like smoking and collecting fine pipes, as your collection has sure grown.

Hmm allergies, maybe it’s still just the PH of VAs bugging you... 🤔

SO, I say, since you like acquiring fine pipes, get one of Mike Sebastian’s tiny Bay Denmark pipes.

Mike does make regular sized pipes as you may know, just look at the specs to make certain.

Now, why I’m saying this, because most people rip through their bowls pretty quick, and you may just being doing that.

So with a tiny pipe, pack it, and make it last 3-4 hrs at least, or even longer. I’m talking barely lighting it, and a few teenie sips, every now and then.

I can take tiny sips every few minutes and still make it last 3-4 hours.

You can certainly smoke any pipe slow, I’m just saying, most people would smoke a tiny pipe like this in 20-30 minutes and it will help you gauge the situation better. Plus being a small pipe, you have to go really slow to keep the bowl/chamber cool.

Besides, it’s a nice excuse for getting another pipe! LOL rotf

You make a tiny little pipe like this last this many hours, I think it would be interesting to see then if you are still being bothered.

I don’t see how anyone would find any blend irritating smoking very easy and slow in a small pipe like this. 🤔

P.S. Luca might give you free shipping if you ask, and I bought two pipes there, both arrived in 3-5 business days. :)

IMG_7364.jpegIt was a family day trip day today. Since giving up cigarettes, it also meant a no tobacco kind of a day (Mostly)

After filling up with a breakfast of Five Brothers, I did not get to smoke the entire day. I did pack my pipes, but since I got only about 7-8 minutes, I got about 5 minutes of smoking time before I had to put it out.

Now back home and after dinner it’s cigar time - Esteban Carreras Chupa Cabra 10th Anniversary

Smoking pipes & meat!

Up at the church working on the meat for our annual picnic. Just me, a trailer, a hammock, some smokers, a few pipes & a whole bunch of meat.

Listening to some good music, drinking some Longbranch bourbon from Wild Turkey, and smoking a mixture of Pegasus & Big N Burley in a MM General cob.

Briskets are in. Ribs & chicken go on in the morning. 😁

The next bowl is in my new Unbranded cherry wood - just stamped “Real Cherry Wood” and “Made in France”

A nostalgic purchase

A bowl of Amphora Full Aroma
This would be one of the blends I would have smoked in 1970s in my original Ropp cherry wood

I feel like I should be wearing dungarees (overalls) for this afternoon’s sessions
