Closing down this Saturday evening with a parting bowl of C&D John Marr in this simple Smoke Master rusticated Billiard. The Red VA and Perique are definitely showing their colors in the forward stream in this session.
Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm nearing the last quarter of this bowl of KBV Prince of Wales in a straight smooth terracotta 2014 Sherlock Holmes Baker Street bulldog with sterling silver band and a tapered black p-lip stem. It's m'lady's favorite pipe in my collection. Watching an episode of McCloud. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.
Had some G.L. Pease Union square in an Ian Fisher natural blast lovat with Cumberland stem on the way to a friends wedding. At the wedding my friend brought a box of Ashton VSG’s which I of course sampled. Happy smokes all!
Enjoyed a big, tasty golden delicious apple, and am half way through this bowl of KBV Mr. Christian’s Kraken Plug in a post-1938 pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 bulldog with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Nigel Bruce smoked this model in two Sherlock Holmes movies. If you’re interested in getting one, please contact Smoking Pipes and ask them to put this model back into production.
Decided to make this a Peterson evening so I am smoking Seattle Pipe Club Hogshead in a well appreciated medium bend, smooth brown 1950s Peterson 999 Dublin chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem.
Close to finishing this bowl of Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson Ebony POTY 4AB No. 422/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
A third of the way through this bowl of year 2018 Sutliff Dunhill Elizabethan Match in my trusty 1970s smooth three quarter bend Peterson System Standard 305 dublin with a black vulcanite p-lip stem. This is the second Peterson I bought, and my first ever estate pipe in 1981. It got heavy use until my collection expanded, but it's still a fav of mine.
