Northwoods with some crème brûlée lining the bottom. Does anyone else do this?

I did this because the Northwoods is quite dry and have found that when I smoke really dry tobacco it helps to have some moist tobacco on the bottom to filter the small particulates of the top.

The weather now permitting a return to my smoking bench after a day or two of wind and storms, I have popped my tin of Pipe Force, been momentarily distracted by my good fortune in finding a fancy metallic circle, and packed a bowl into the meer. Very nice, and I credit the recent blind latakia tasting with some of my appreciation.

Also packed most of my homegrown (so far) into a noodle press to make a hockey puck. Came out to about 75g Samsun, 4g Rustica.
