I never “got” the “Blue Mountains“ bit either.
But these eucalypts in the Sydney blue gum forest do have smooth bluey-grey trunks. Very handsome, tall, straight trees
There are a few in the bush directly across the road from the house, but mixed in with other species of gum trees

Got a pipe in earlier running parts for the estate 1987 Kubota tractor we picked up Friday for the ranch, Sutliff Elizabethan Match in a Pete 102 Short Army.


Went to put a new oring in a hydraulic line and found the fuel/petcock assembly decided to start pissing fuel all over. More parts ordered, and got assembly out and hoses blocked off until the parts arrive.
I’ll probably carry a room note of diesel #2 for days.
But on a good note, I got the frozen tenon/mortise apart on the Kaywoodie estate that came in yesterday….
