Just arrived pipe and tobacco! Trying to think of something for which I need to repent while sampling some Presbyterian Reformation in the new Peterson Aran 68. Dried it out a bit in the oven while cleaning the coating out of the bowl - relaxing!

Going to have Edward G. Robinson’s Pipe Blend (2021) in an EA Carey English Gentleman No. 345 The Natural Prima Magic Inch (with an obvious nod to @JimInks ) to show off part of the redone yard (the gravel section closer to the pipe, not the grass behind the dividing wall).
We took delivery of 5.5 cubic yards of pea gravel on Monday—we rented a sod cutter a few weeks ago after attempting (and failing) to chop up the grass with a hoe and have been shoveling dirt and weeding since. We put down weed barrier and started putting down gravel a few days ago so we don't have to mow grass and weed anymore. It’s been back breaking, but, the yard is looking much improved (probably to our neighbours’ delight).
