Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2012 Sutliff BRG in a brown “rocky” smooth medium bend 1970s Peterson 309 Standard sculpted billiard military mount with a nickel ferrule and a black vulcanite saddle stem. Been enjoying some reading time.

Half way through this bowl of 1960s Edgeworth Ready Rubbed in a medium bend dark brown 2017 Don Warren 17 smooth straight grain rough top Dublin with a multi-brown cumberland stem and ferrule in the military mount style. I may end the day with this smoke.

Sa'more University Flake in my Peterson Dalkey 106. Haven't posted for a couple of days but been pretty much Uni Flake anyways. I'm at the last few bowls of a tin and it's right at the sweet spot for my preferences, I find when it is fresh to be really burley forward, whereas after a good while in a jar and plenty of open time, the Virginia's take over.
I could be wrong, I'm no expert/jiminks but I'm curious to know if anybody else feels the same.

Morning pipe: HU Old Fredder's Broken Flake in my cobbit. Nice blend, but I would not put it up there with DC or LB (hopefully that is not blasphemous in any way or bordering on talking politics) Happy to have a nice blend in the morning since I have had a few frustrating pipes over the last couple of days.

After lunch. I start with a bowl of Davidoff Medallions, in a Carolina Gent pipe. And a small glass of whiskey. I really wanted to smoke Peter Stokkebye - Luxury Bullseye Flake (No. 403), but I am not able to open the glass jar. I put on the thread, several turns of Teflon tape.I could see through the glass, those tender, moist, chocolate-coloredand honey, smiling, oh yes, rolls smiling at me. If you want to keep your tobacco moist and totally sealed, use Teflon, it will be impossible to open the lid of your rich tobacco.
