Thanks Ken! The blast is shallow but very detailed, the lines are pretty tight although the shank might be a touch bloated, and the slot is slightly crooked but nothing to get worked up over. All that said, the proportions are bang on and the stem (aside from the slot being a few degrees off from square) is excellent. I’m only one bowl in but all signs point to this being the kind of pipe they find in my pocket when I’m dead.

Almost a third of the way through this bowl of Angler's Dream in a 1984 Stanwell Antique 124 egg with a smooth brown front and a black sandblasted back with a dark gold ferrule and black vulcanite stem in the military mount style. I may end the day with this smoke.

Morning pipe: KBV Raven Eye Flake in my grand canyon sized no-name pipe. This is a good blend. Nothing to really write home about. Good retrohale. Can choo-choo the shite out of it and not get burned. Middle of the pipe is where the flavor gets going, but then 3/4 down is where the choo-choo makes the flavor not as great. I would say to slow your role starting at the half-way mark and it should be good. Easily an all day smoke without the need to really cogitate on what you are doing.
