Lol, he didn't like it much did he? I went for Sutliff Elizabethan Match for my morning smoke while enjoying some great footie games. I think zulujerk's description works well for Wessex Burley Slices. I really struggle to extract any flavor from that tobacco.
Yesterday, I had several tobaccos : Old Toby, Captain Black and Cherry cavendish mix, Green Dragon, and Whatever ?????, all throughout the day as needed mostly in Savinelli 128 Billiard, Vauen bent egg, Comoy London Pride 215.
Today I am a bit zonkered
due to trying Sello Roja Columbian coffee, which my local store got in and which is so strong I am still recovering 7 hrs later !! For me like a sedative, for another instant heart palpitations; and I only made a 7 tablespoon per 12 cups of water mix ! And I like strong coffee but Wow !
If I am able later, I have some Old Toby/Captain Black mix drying and 1/2 bowl of Whatever left to finish in the savinelli.

Lots of Peterson talk had me dig out my original Sherlock Original. P-lip is perfect for this large shape (gentle clench as I type) and this pipe is an earner, lol. The grill is warming up and I’m in no hurry - my two best canine friends have come out to join me!

I'm half way through this bowl of C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Going to enjoy some spoils of the NASPC show. Found a tin of my favorite Virginia ribbon, from 2003, Peterson Sherlock Holmes. Naturally it's going in to the Peterson Walnut Spigot 65.
