Had a full bowl of Tobacco Trader's Proper English blend, in my rusticated Viking Dublin. What made it particularly noteworthy is it was on the beach in between surfs (a good south swell here in SoCal), as I took time off today to celebrate my birthday. It only took four matches, despite a little offshore wind!

Did a set of walking reps, and am not far from finishing this bowl of D&R Ryback in a smooth straight late 1970s Charatan Special 4148DC Reg. No. 203573 pot with a black double comfort vulcanite stem.
Now smoking Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a straight smooth brown 1950s Comoy’s Tradition 305 apple military mount with a sterling silver cap and a black tapered vulcanite stem.
That was the first clay pipe I ever owned, I bought one last year from SPC. I went to tap the tabac out of the bowl to empty it, holding the stem in the middle and not thinking. SNAP goes the stem... LOL Thank goodness they’re not expensive, maybe I’ll try a clay pipe again one day, I know you love them...

4th Generation Peaty KY in a Chacom Churchwarden
A really amazing blend you don’t see/hear much about. I bought 2 ounces off KBV, smoked a bowl, ran back to KBV a short while later to see it gone, was sad but kept looking every so often. Then it came back and I snagged another 2 ounces!
This stuff is yummy! I’m going to keep this last 2 ounces I bought in the bag to age.
It is yummy! Burley Morning Pipe and Mycroft are also really good, but Mycroft is slightly too strong for me (wow!).
I’m smoking Samuel Gawith Best Brown and sipping E.H. Taylor bourbon. We’re going to walk down the road and pop in on a neighborhood pool party. Make a pass through and say our hellos and then head back home and kick our feet up.
