I've been smoking coins of Mac Baren Latakia Roll Cake stuffed into a James Upshall Canadian S-Grade today while I work. The huge bowl on this pipe really works well for stuffing coins. I just give it light twist to fit it down in and then smoke it nice and slow. Drinking Portland water and coca-cola. Cheers!

@Count Vajda That Mac Baren roll cake looks like it would go well in a clay!

@Count Vajda Nice clay pipe - I like the twine banding around the stem!

That was the first clay pipe I ever owned, I bought one last year from SPC. I went to tap the tabac out of the bowl to empty it, holding the stem in the middle and not thinking. SNAP goes the stem... LOL Thank goodness they’re not expensive, maybe I’ll try a clay pipe again one day, I know you love them... :)

@PipeIT I've broken a few clays myself...

First smoke of the day is Ken Byron Ventures' The Patience of Doctor Silence in an unknown calabash gourd pipe with block meerschaum bowl, silver band, and a black vulcanite stem. I forgot to polish the silver on this when I worked on my other pipes. Anyways, I bought this pipe from a regular at Horse Brass Pub 15 years ago for $25 and I really love the shape and size.

A really amazing blend you don’t see/hear much about. I bought 2 ounces off KBV, smoked a bowl, ran back to KBV a short while later to see it gone, was sad but kept looking every so often. Then it came back and I snagged another 2 ounces!

This stuff is yummy! I’m going to keep this last 2 ounces I bought in the bag to age.

It is yummy! Burley Morning Pipe and Mycroft are also really good, but Mycroft is slightly too strong for me (wow!).

I have a Molina that's a copy of that Peterson shape. Is it a Dublin, a Calabash, a weird rounded Pear/Dublin hybrid? Only The Shadow knows.

"About The Shape
A fairly recent addition to our catalogue, this unique hybrid design combines elements of traditional bent Dublin, Calabash and Rhodesian archetypes to create a new shape that represents our singular House Style."
(Peterson of Dublin)

Maybe a Ducarho would describe it ...
