What do you think of the 1849? I was gonna put some of that and English Crumble Cake in my next order. I’m bummed that I missed out on the Cringle and Barrel aged Ltd Edition but I think they were gone long before I first used SP anyway.

If you like plumy, spicy perique, you should try it. It's 25% of the mix.

In 2006 when I asked the guy in the pipe shop for a Sobranie Reserve Blend (blue) replacement this is the one he suggested:-

Kaywoodie Standard 983 with saddle stem. Pleasant little smoker with 4 hole stinger.

Wilke No.5, an underrated blend IMHO, in a Grabow Savoy, smooth, bent. An underrated pipe, IMHO. My accompaniment is Tennessee Honey with a dash of Skrewball. An outstanding combo for those whose tastes lean in this direction.

Smoked some Reiner Professional Blend in a Missouri Meerschaum Natural Mark Twain.

Snapped quick one for hell of it. The orange round thing is a sole of bagpipes chanter. It's mostly for decoration, but some believes, depending on the material, tone can change. The chanter itself is African Blackwood, traditional material.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, trout and green beans dinner with strawberries and cherries for dessert. I'm not far from finishing this bowl of Watch City Beta Test Blend #1 in a 2013 straight black sandblasted Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Baker Street with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite fish tail stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching the Braves-Reds game while making review notes for this blend, which I'll compare to the second version soon.
