Good stuff isn’t it? I’m not sure what took me so long to get around to trying that one, but it’s probably now my favorite cigar leaf blend.

Having some Star of the East with a couple years on it in the meer. Been a while since I’ve had this one, but I remember it being fairly “one note” when it was fresh. I’d say it’s opened up some and gained a little complexity with age, but it’s been long enough that it’s difficult to compare to my fuzzy memory of the fresh stuff.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and green beans dinner with strawberries and cherries for dessert. I'm almost a third of the way through this bowl of first release Watch City Rouxgaroux in a 1999 smooth medium bend Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Baskerville with a sterling silver band and black vulcanite p-lip stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching the Braves-Cards game, and cleaning a couple of estate pipes.

I cracked a tin of SeerSucker from May of 2019 last night and I’m loving it.

Nighttime is the right time for some C&D Haunted Bookshop in my new (to me) Savinelli La Pipa 2011. My first time with this blend and I really like it. Burley is front and center, with a dash of perique to spice it up. Cool, steady burn. This is the closest thing to a cigar in a pipe I’ve come across. Washing it down with some good ol’ iced tea. Cheers!
