Finally got some sleep after dinner, which was a salad, chicken legs and asparagus dinner with strawberries for dessert. Just finishing a bowl of Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a straight smooth brown 1950s Comoy’s Tradition 305 apple military mount with a sterling silver cap and a black tapered vulcanite stem.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and have a third of a bowl left of Watch City Simply VOriental in a straight smooth medium brown 1930s Wilshire 5 bulldog (Comoy’s second) made for John’s Pipe Shop in Los Angeles with a black vulcanite saddle stem.
Listing this early so I can concentrate on work for a while: Wilke No. 78 in a smooth straight brown 1949 Yello- Bole Century Model Lovat with a nickel band accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem.

One of the Scottish Highlanders I met at the Bonnie Prince Charlie re-enactment in Derby was smoking Clan in his clay pipe; the organisers of the clay pipe smoking competition I am practicing for use Clan Original in their clay pipes.
Should I start practicing ready for next year; I've got a good chance of winning!

I could almost smell all that pipe smoke - and some of it will be mine when I take part!
Will have to ask the event staff if I can smoke the leftover baccy...
