It does go well with coffee & cream. I usually drink mine black, but that combo kind of “clicks.”My very first bowl of Carter Hall in a cob. Paired with major Dickason brewed strong with a splash of cream. delicious View attachment 39618
It goes well with strong-brewed teas with cream, too. I used to enjoy coffee, but the acid indigestion I began to get after drinking it has put me off the brew, sadly. It does go well with coffee & cream. I usually drink mine black, but that combo kind of “clicks.”
I have 2 unopened tins waiting , thanks for infoMy first bowl of HH Rustica in a Matchless Billiard. I expected this one to be little bit harsher or more overwhelming by its taste. What I got was sweet, mellow smoke with wonderful floralness. It’s easy to smoke this too fast due to its tastiness and the dangers of severe nic-hit lie ahead constantly.View attachment 39630

I have both on hand -- that sounds like something to try. Just roughly 50/50 mix 'em together?I mixed Picayune and 5 Brothers and had a small group 3 sized bowl a few minutes ago in my Grabow Tru-Grain.
I do put a little sugar...not much, in my black coffee.
This reminded me I have a tin of that in my cellar, never opened and tried it yet.Savinelli D’Oblone D’Oro from my Il Ceppo bent sandblast Dublin with acrylic ferrule before work. @jiminks if this is what the old Three Nuns tasted like I miss it too!!!!!
