You really make me want to get a meerschaum some day! Some of the colors/patina on yours are the best I’ve ever seen! I want to season one to the point it gets that really dark color that some of yours have.... I imagine that would take a lifetime though, it would be very satisfying to watch the colors develop over time. I’ve had a total of 3 meers in my life but all of them had a really shitty draw.

Trade secret: @weezell hires in itinerant laborers at cut rates to heavily smoke his meers for a one-month period before changing stems. This is an Mark Twain solution that he read about while perusing articles in old copies of The Atlantic and having the help bring him mint juleps.

Having posted pics over the past weeks of nearly all of my *'modern' pipes - as in pipes I bought new from pipe shops in London and Cannes during the 1970s and 1980s when I was in my late teens and twenties - I'll be moving on tomorrow from the late 20th Cent. to early & mid 20th Cent. examples.
Before I end this section I'm taking the opportunity to post a quick overview of the pipes already posted individually:-

Speaking about 'modern' and 'new' pipes - I know I shouldn't but I still remain a bit weirded out by similar age pipes appearing here and on auction sites referred to as 'estate pipes'.
