Just past the half way mark on this bowl of D&R Three Sails in a smooth straight late 1970s Charatan Special 4148DC Reg. No. 203573 pot with a black double comfort vulcanite stem. Finished my first set of walks in this brutal heat and humidity. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Back to back bowls. First was Dunhill Elizabethan which is becoming my go-to morning smoke. After cracking a jar a few weeks the blend is getting better with each bowl.

Then I had to go with a bowl of Curly Block. The first bowl was excellent and then the next few okay. Today the blend just opened up and provided a creamy/spicy smoke that was better than the first bowl. I think the humid conditions were to blame for the previous bowls.

Finished a second set of walks. Hope it doesn't rain so I can get the rest in. In the meantime, I've about quarter of a bowl left of 1970s Carter Hall in a 2015 Basil Meadows black sandblasted billiard with an aluminum band and a pearl red acrylic tapered stem. That leaves me with one more bowl of CH to smoke.
