Just finishing this bowl of HU Manyara in a 1982 black sandblasted medium bend W.O. Larsen freehand with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
4th Generation small batch aged Virginia in a Falcon and a glass of Gosling's dark rum.
Now smoking Ken Byron Ventures Pork Chops & Apple Sauce 2020 in a smooth medium brown 1998 Parker 489 three quarter bend billiard with a black vulcanite tapered stem. Watching You Only Live Once starring Henry Fonda. It looks like his jail cell guard is smoking a straight Peterson bulldog.
Smoking some MacBaren HH Latakia Flake, it's a good Latakia flake but nothing spectacular in my opinion, basically a toned down version of Dan Tobacco's Old Ironsides.
It sure is sir, & a pretty good smoke too. But I don't know about the States yet.
Having a bowl of C and D Bayou Morning in a Sasieni two-dot 1/4 bent brandy. My first bowl of this blend. Good stuff, with a rather aggressive perique presence.
Did some snacking, and am now smoking Ken Byron Ventures Burley Morning Pipe in a smooth three quarter bend 1979 made in Israel billiard with a black vulcanite tapered stem. Watching Patton: 360.

Good Ole Gowrie by Rattray's in B Nutten's Bing Heritage pipe
I need an "unusual share of strength" on a Monday morning, so I reached for the Rattray's Hal O' The Wynd. Enjoying it in a mystery Ben Wade, hallmarked only "LDS" (for Leeds, presumably). A good week to all.
Getting into the workday flow as well as a nice, fat bowl of PS Luxury Navy Flake. Finally getting to drink a bit of coffee, about to listen to Allan Holdsworth's album 'Sand' ...happy Monday, folks!

Old Joe in a Sav. It’s getting warm outside, I’ve got the day off. Do I stay inside, comfortable in the AC, and do water changes in the aquariums? Work on the old outboard motor in the warm garage? Or cut the grass or finish building my shed in the inferno outside? It will take another cup of coffee and another pipe to decide. It’s 1020AM, and I just woke up.
