I wanted something aromatic but not too aromatic. After raiding the odds and ends and my blending components I came up with a 50/50 mix of Lane RLP-6 and Sutliff Red Virginia Ribbon. In a Mark Twain MM cob.

Missed pipes for the last couple of days but in that time have had some goodies arrive. Today is a new-to-me 1976 Peterson Meer extra large bent with HU Edward G, a very delicious blend vaper/oriental with an interesting makeup of spin, broken flake and ribbons. An Irish Gunpowder gin martini accompanies as my homemade maraschino cherries marinate for three days, ready for a Manhattan in Sunday or Monday. Beautiful weather here on the back deck after a day of severe thunderstorms and tornado watches. More severe weather tomorrow.

Enjoyed a tasty, very late lunch, and have about a quarter of a bowl left of Wilke No. 111 in a smooth medium bend 1950s Peterson Shamrock Killarney 9BC with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem.
Five Brothers in an Old Dominion Chesapeake cob. 
Now smoking Wilke Rum and Maple in a medium bend egg 2017 Royal Meerschaum Dragon meer with a black and cream swirl amber colored acrylic tapered stem. Time for my last set of walking reps. This is the only R&M blend I've had where the rum was more obvious than the maple.
About 1/4 of the way through a bowl of D&R Two Timer in a Tsuge. First time trying this one. Ordered some after hearing its praises from @mso489 .
I’m really liking it so far. This would pair nicely with a tall glass of sweet tea with lots of ice and a big wedge of lemon. Or morning coffee.

Is it possible for the tobacco in the chamber to take on moisture from environment while smoking? Sure as hell felt like it. Carolina humidity was getting to me while finishing off Penny Farthing in Peterson Flame Grain Spigot 80s.
