So after my first smoke I decided to do something that may be controversial to the pipe... I took my Dremal tool out and cut the stinger off just after the threads, sanded it real nice and it’s still a perfect fit. I filled it up with Condor Plug and now it smokes like a dream, a nice open draw! I realize that this can devalue the pipe but I don’t ever plan on selling it, if anything, I would pay it forward to another pipe smoker some day. I’m one happy dude right about now!

St. Bruno in a Pete System Standard 306. My first impression is that this delicious. Would have like to try to original but this is a definite keeper. Martini accompanies.

Agree! It’s one of my favorites fo sho! I had tried the original Ogden’s St. Bruno RR version a while back. Think Dark Birds Eye shag cut (actually found it similar in flavor too) plus the famous floral, complex, beautifully crafted sauce, so in short it was a much more stout, nicotine heavy blend than the current version. The modern day stuff is top shelf in my book and it is by far the deepest cellared blend I have. I’m glad you are enjoying it! It ages quite nicely too.

I can’t remember, are you a Condor man as well?

Fried chicken, cole slaw, mashed potatoes and gravy, and a biscuit for supper (guess which Colonel’s house I stopped by to pick up supper); since I was too lazy to cook, I had to prep something in the kitchen.

G.L. Pease Jack Knife Plug. I cut it coarsely and gave it a loose rub. No drying necessary, it was just right the way it was. I’m sipping on this from the same Stanwell Duke I posted an image of earlier. I think my visual acuity is sharpening as I make my way through this bowl ...

Enjoyed a tasty peach, and am a third of the way through this bowl of Wilke Lizzie Blood Virginia in a 2003 medium bent straight grain military mount Two dot 2 P. Ardor Venere Extra Bucaneve signed by Dorelio Rovera with a silver ferrule and a black acrylic stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.
