Hiked two trails out at Hickory Hills, through the woods, slopes, weeds, mosquitos. Old tree roots serve as steps on the old trail off the new cross country path. One of the trails that passes behind the old ski hills I ran when going to day camp here back in the ‘70s.

Finished my Balkan Supreme (it was only about 1/4 bowl left over from last night). Now having some Esoterica Pembroke. For anyone not familiar, it’s a shag cut English, topped liberally with cognac. Smoking it in a briar hobby block. This tin is from the recent drop, but has lots of plume-y bits in it.
