Now smoking C&D Mixture Monster 3 in a 1979 no name French briar smooth full bend egg with a black vulcanite stem.
Marvel Comics co-creator Jack Kirby would have been 99 today. The spirit of his work and of his heart still resides in the memories of those who saw the work and knew the man. Happy birthday, Jack!

I reserve my meerschaum pipes for times of pure leisure. Those have been in very short supply lately. So, this ginormous bowl of Samuel Gawith's Full Virginia Flake in the claw and egg meer is a rare treat.
I wonder how much impact the recent turmoil in Turkey is having on the meerschaum market. Anybody have a clue?

Macbaren HH Latakia Flake in a "Jansen's N.O." smooth Canadian (These pipes were either made in the shop on-site or by GBD. I found references to both).

Balkan Sasieni in a straight meer billiard Group4 sized. I got this pipe and two other straight shanked no name meers, along with a 3 pipes stand that also holds and has its glass 'humidor'.....for $20.00 on the auction site.

They all smoke great and are in my rotation, especially the other two which are apples, one slightly smaller than the other and both approx Group3 sized. I smoke 4 meers. One is an African, and these 3 are likely from Turkey, as they're white rather than beige, like the Kiko I got for a ridiculously low price in a batch of ...........

estate cobs! The shipping cost was more than the bid, and it was not a gouge.

Talk about having fun! Well, I don't talk much about the two carved meers I paid $20.00 for and both have serious cracking issues, or the Yello Bole Brylon I carry in the car.

I know the temps in my car reach well over 120 degrees about everyday, and I don't leave even a cob in that heat.
