Bouncing between Altinok Meer and Urushi, with the goal of finishing my Seersucker today.

Pretty sure I have a second tin at home, which I'll probably either try to trade or give away, since it's good enough to smoke but I don't think I like it enough to go through a second plug of.

Keep me in mind, if you do. I like it enough to have thrown a couple extra tins on a recent order, just to have some around. Happy to work something out. ;)

Well, 90% of my errands are done for the day at this point and it's a nice day, to boot. Heading out for a little lunt with the pooch and a bowl of Black Locust in an HS Studio blasted freehand.

When you get there, don't think you can't afford artisan pipes, too. If you want artisan pipes, but without spending 4 figures, your job is to find people who'll be charging $1,500-2,500 for their pipes someday, but who are just getting started, yet are really, really good already. With other hobbies taking up funds, too, I can't afford artisan pipes now from several I bought from when they were starting out. It's kind of neat to see a pipe go up on SP for $1,500 to $2,500, and know you have a similar one you paid $200-500 for, from the same maker.
This is solid advice, thank you for the pearls!

Been too busy the last couple weeks to catch up with this thread and post my smokes but today was a slow day at work so I finally managed it! Had my gran's funeral the week before last, and a friend's this Thursday, Bill Door has certainly been busy. I'm sure a handful of you will know the reference. This morning I smoked my first ever bowl of Gawith Hoggarth's Skiff mixture, followed by another bowl of the same. It might be my favourite English already, needless to say I have no desire to buy EMP ever again. This afternoon I've just enjoyed my first bowl of Sam's Chocolate Flake (I couldn't get anymore Bob's). I'm undecided if I prefer it to Bob's as it's such a different beast, the best comparison I can make is a slightly sweeter version of Solani Aged Burley Flake with fewer "rough notes" as I believe Jim calls themView attachment 388840
Man, I'm sorry for your losses. Family and friend back to back is a way tough deal. And good to see you back, friend.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2020 Pfeifen Huber Virginia Golden Flake in a 1938 smooth straight brown patent Dunhill R 115 bowling ball apple with a tapered cumberland stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Fed the ferals earlier. Abner the Eager came back to eat, and he's laying by my feet. Watching the Braves-Rockies game.
