I want a Savinelli Punto Oro straight billiard or Canadian. Just slightly too expensive for me just yet. One day though, it's on my list
When you get there, don't think you can't afford artisan pipes, too. If you want artisan pipes, but without spending 4 figures, your job is to find people who'll be charging $1,500-2,500 for their pipes someday, but who are just getting started, yet are really, really good already. With other hobbies taking up funds, too, I can't afford artisan pipes now from several I bought from when they were starting out. It's kind of neat to see a pipe go up on SP for $1,500 to $2,500, and know you have a similar one you paid $200-500 for, from the same maker.

Out of a number somewhere over 50 that I refuse to count for the sake of plausible deniability, I only have 5, 9mm pipes, but the 2 workhorses of the group are a godsend when I overdo it, as I have been lately, and tongue bite hits. I should probably also have switched and had a few cigars instead, but just didn't want to. BriarWorks Back Down South in a BriarWorks sandblasted black bent pot with saddle stem, and then Peter Heinrichs English blend in the Balandis XL Anse.

Just love that pipe. Rhodesian type bowl and quarter bend not only looks great, but would smoke great as well. I've a mind for a similar pipe during my upcoming pipe tweak.
Thanks Gord, I was lucky enough to be given this one and I’ve come to love bent bulldogs. Rhodesians are good too but I love the diamond shanks of a bulldog and why I picked up that Brebbia I frequently post :]

Voting Day in Canada Today. Got a welcome ride to to go to take out the trash. The buddy who drove me also smokes a pipe, so we paused at a local parklet, lit up, and discussed the planning of the takeover of the known universe.

I braved some Capt. Black Cherry Cavendish, in my mini-cobb, and in spite of the past few days, wasn't bad at all. Looks like the allergy, virus or whatever it was is clearing up. Had some coffee with it from Rotton Ronnies, and yeah, the pipe was reminiscent of a fruit drink taste with your coffee. Back on track. Will take it easy for a couple of days, though, because my experience says that frustration leads to tongue bite. None of us need that.

Also of note is that this little pipe has definitely instilled in me the necessity of owning a nose-warmer, so that'll be upcoming in my planned 8 pipe tweak, which is now 2 down, 6 six to go, btw. The older you get, the less you grow up.

I like straight pipes and I look at pipes under $200. The Punto Oro pipes are just over $200 I think maybe $300. And I can see maybe paying that But over $300 you start getting into Gun money. Hell $1500, you could buy a decent rifle for that.
