Half way through this bowl of year 2014 MacBaren Three Nuns in the first pipe Trever Talbot made when he went to France many years ago. It's a smooth straight Algerian briar Lumberman with a long shank and a black vulcanite saddle stem, unbranded.

Love the grain on that - an unbranded gem indeed

A third of a bowl left of KBV River of Deceit 2023 in a 2003 medium bent Ural meer with a lined and etched egg shaped bowl with a silver band and a pearl brown acrylic saddle stem. Working on a review of this blend. This will get me to dinner time.

C&D Mountain Camp in a Tinder Box St. Ives bent pot with a unique vertical saddle stem, my first pipe ever from about 1978, still looking good and smoking strong. Errands and a good nap after a frantic tax day yesterday with my tax preparer and the post office.

At the P.O. was a frantic guy who was at the stamp machine and dropped his tax return behind the machine. I'm not sure how, or whether he retrieved his return. Luckily I got there when there were about 14 people in line in front of me; after that, the line grew to 30 or 40. I sent my returns off certified mail.

I find that folklore tends to disappear on me about halfway through a larger bowls. How did it work for you in this?
I don't have many (any?) "larger" bowls, really. This one for instance is about group 2/3.
But so far I've enjoyed Folklore and it doesn't seem to fade as the bowl progresses. Overall, Folklore has been a pleasant surprise for me.
The only time I had a bad experience was when I packed a bowl way too tight and it was nothin but trouble.
