Some three year old Westminster in a Kaywoodie shape 07 billiard. I don't know what it is, but this is the ideal pipe for me. I have two of them and I'm seriously considering trying to assemble a seven day set of them. It's just a really great medium sized straight billiard. Both of mine smoke great. I've got a silhouette and a flame grain. The silhouette is probably my absolute favorite pipe.

I notice you enjoy churchwardens. Is a churchwarden your favorite style of pipe? If so, why?

I'm curious.
Indeed! Very much so.
I really enjoy the reach. The way I can rest on my elbow and hold the pipe and take puffs (sips) I find really comfortable.
I also, for some reason, really do not like the way I look with short (regular) pipes at all. I do have a couple that I smoke when I need to clench them for a bit while I do things with my hands (That being said, this new one is looking like it's going to be much easier to clench than other churchwardens!)
They also incidentally keep smoke out of my eyes/face. Mostly plumes that catch me off-guard on the short ones.

Passing the quarter mark on this bowl of 2021 Watch City Simply VOriental in a straight smooth medium brown 1930s Wilshire 5 bulldog (Comoy’s second) made for John’s Pipe Shop in Los Angeles with a black vulcanite saddle stem.

This one goes out to @kitchnsink52 and all those dreaming of inexpensive pipes, don’t worry about it! ;)

Smoking in an inexpensive 1931-1967 BBB Wyteway Billiard 1931-1967 with a vulcanite stem, GLP Telegraph Hill.

The pipe probably sold originally, I’m guessing for $7 upwards, to maybe $20, as an estate pipe, maybe today for $60$-$70.

Remember: ‘Price doesn’t always equate to a better smoker’!

For all the newer pipe smokers that haven’t seen this article, be sure to read; ‘The Myth of Brand and Maker in Pipesmoking’, by Dr. Fred Hanna.

Be well everyone! ❤️

I was just thinking of these pics, with you and your Churchwardens. :)

Where the heck you go camping if you live in Wuhan? 🤔

Show us some of that Panda Country! LOL 🐼 😆

Be well! ❤️
This is a camp near a reservoir group 90 kilometers away from Wuhan city, where you can play paddle boards or row boats. Many people also go fishing. A kind-hearted person lent me a fishing rod, but I didn't catch anything except for making a mess of the spool. Fortunately, the IPAs in the car refrigerator can alleviate the embarrassment. Besides, everyone is curious about my pipe, and for a moment I feel like Gandalf surrounded by hobbits.

The hometown of pandas is in Sichuan Province, 1130km away from my home. I have been there before, and pandas are obviously quite cute. One will save a bite of panda cake to feed crows, treat them as pets, and try to escape from prison by stepping on their companions. But what really surprised me was the extreme obsession of Japanese tourists with pandas, some of them cried and shouted for happiness at the pandas, as if they had been separated for many years. The scene was very interesting. ;)
