Good day all! Started with a tryout of KBV Brown Flek in a MM Cob; very nice in the cob. Now putting fire to a bowl of KBV Your Welcome (matured Virginia ribbon) in a large Tilshead smooth Semibent with tapered stem and .75" bore.
Did a set of walking reps on this chilly, sunny day, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Lunch follows this smoke.
It’s a little overcast and chilly, so back in the smoke shack for comfort. Going to need to turn the portable heater down, must be Spring, really don’t need it anymore. Enjoying some 2012 Dunhill MM 965 in a Comoy’s Tradition Pot with a coffee.
Smoking my first ever bowl of Capstan Gold RR in a Briarworks bent apple. This is the first straight Virginia I've smoked that I've thought "I should buy a ton of this stuff."
@craig61a I recommend trying it in a clay. The strongest pipe baccy I've ever smoked; I had to sit down to smoke it. Smoke it too hard and it would probably knock me out
The Virginia Cream in my Gepetto apple. I’m a 1/4 into the tin and can now say I’m really liking it. In reminds me of Windjammer, not in flavor but rather how it reveals itself in subtleties from smoke to smoke. I’ll be picking up more to put into rotation and stash away for aging.
Just back from a weekend trip to Canada. I didn’t bother bringing anything with me to smoke there, so catching up with a bowl of McClelland Navy Cavendish in a Savinelli Punto Oro 707
Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast with a golden delicious apple on the side. I'm almost finished smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Jamaican Reserve, neat, is my drink.
Just finished smoking SWRA in a straight, black sandblasted undated Comoy’s Sunrise Etched Grain straight apple 551 with a black vulcanite saddle stem.
