Now smoking Jim's Evolving Work Blend in a 2003 Stanwell Golden Danish 56 Rusticated Canadian with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Haven't smoked either pipe or tobacco (which is rather dry) in a long time. Going to work in a minute or two.

Samuel Gawith Balkan Flake is an exceptional tobacco which becomes sublime with age. I opened a jar from June 2017 and smoking in a Scottie Piersel Foot Long

Just finished a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in the old Dr Grabow...the bowl in that pipe is fat and wide. It was stout sip with care but very good!

Moving onto to a 50/50 mix of two aromatics...same cavendish in both different toppings I think. Going to smoke this in the BBB Ultonia.

First up Dunhill My Mixture 965

In a DotterPipes (Domagoj Telisman) canted egg morta with black bamboo shank extension.

Finishing the dregs of Van Winkle 16yo Pot Still bourbon
And a mug of chrysanthemum flower + liquorice root infusion

Close to finishing this bowl of Wilke Golden Sceptre in a late 40s, early 50s straight black sandblasted Wagner British Thorn 495 (Comoy’s second) pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Just fed Stripesy and Daisy, the latter must have heard me come into the den because as soon as I did, she started banging on the screen door.

Now smoking Wilke Continental in an undated unbranded straight black sandblasted short shank billiard with a long black vulcanite tapered stem. This blend has a lot of richness strength.

A second English blend - Dunhill London Mixture.
Wishing STG(Peterson) will bring back this blend along with Durbar.

In a Reiner Thilo deeply blasted morta with a horn extension.
Despite its solid looks, a surprisingly light pipe.

Really enjoying the chrysanthemum / liquorice root infusion - a drink my grandmother used to make for me when I was a youngster. Brings back fond memories of growing up with my grandparents in the same household.

Whilst I sit enjoying a bowl of Reiver Mixture (pat pending) @Birddog66 ? in a Heibe half bent Rhodesian I’m being serenaded by skylarks. In the distance I can hear a great tit “teacher teacher teacher” Mornings should always start like this.
