Good morning all. I‘ve spent the morning wrangling an opossum out of my basement. It sounds like another one is stuck inside the wall and there is not a single wildlife removal company that is open on the weekend around here. Fun times!
I‘m taking a break and having F&T CVP in a Country Gentleman.
Just opened my last jar of Craven’s Claw from Master blender Steve Books dated 2003. It as good 19 years ago. Today it’s sublime. Enjoying it in a Trey Rice smooth acorn with giraffe bone.
Good weekend and pipes to all! Starting this frigid Florida morning (59 degrees) with G&H Hansom Flake in a Tilshead smooth Cutty with pencil shank and eighth-bent tapered stem.
Second Generation 2 Star Lee rusticated with G&H Brown Flake Scented. I moved most of my Lees to our place in Laughlin. It’s not easy finding a Lee that is in good shape or priced appropriately so I consider the few I have to be the few I’ll keep. FWIW, they do smoke well and I have no complaints. Certainly on par with a 1930s Kaywoodie or Dunhill In terms of smoking.
Spring in the air. Outdoor smoke of Wilke PB&C in Radice Bent Poker Sitter. Looking forward to breaking in a new to me Molina for later. Happy weekend all.
