Yet another first time try, Brighton (sample) in my Medico Whitewall billiard. Dried this one nice n' crispy, just how I like my VAs, and combined with properly slow puffing, getting majorly rewarded, though my favorite Eso blend thus far is still Dorchester by far. Bird report: Common raven, Red-tailed hawk, California scrub-jay, Oak titmouse, Steller's jay, California towhee, Dark-eyed junco, White-crowned sparrow, and Band-tailed pigeon. Lovely lenticular clouds forming nearby as I smoke:

Just passing the first third of this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Gold Star Mocha, neat, is my drink.

Picked up a three pound can of Costco's Kirkland Dark Roast for $12.95, which is made by Starbuck's. That shows just how much Starbuck's coffees in regular stores are greatly over priced. They usually charge that amount for twelve ounces in grocery stores.View attachment 138367
I've been buying Harris Teeter French Roast and/or Espresso 12oz bags @ 3 for 10 bucks on sale. It's not bad.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, giant bowl of chili and two jumbo slices of freshly made apple cinnamon raisin pie for dessert. I'll be working off these calories for several day, I'm sure. I'm half way through this bowl of year 1983 Condor Long Cut in a smooth straight 1870s Au Pacha meerschaum canted cutty with a sterling silver band and amber orific stem. It's my first smoke in this new-to-me pipe, which is now the oldest one I own. The pipe is a little darker than you see in this photo. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
