SG St James Flake in a Comoy’s Bent Billiard. First try of this tobacco and I can see it making its way into my rotation. Smoking excellently after a thorough drying time. Shame about the unseasonably cold weather.
Just finished another set of walks, and this bowl of D&R Ryback in a smooth straight late 1970s Charatan Special 4148DC Reg. No. 203573 pot with a black double comfort vulcanite stem.
Now smoking Seattle Pipe Club Plum Pudding Special Reserve Flake in a 1990s smooth Peterson Captain Pete XL80 bulldog with a black vulcanite stem and p-lip. This is the flake version, which will be released at the end of the month, and when it's gone, it's gone. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Low Country natural VA/Oriental in the LJ Peretti. This may be my new tobacco for breaking in new pipes. Smooth, easy going smoke. Well behaved in the pipe, with nice mellow flavor. View attachment 74914
I thought that is the only thing they make as something of their own, since Nick works for them.
What part of Mass you from? I lived a short while in Groton behind the State Coach Inn before it burned. I use to work and Skydive at Skydive Pepperell.
Been once or twice to L.J. Peretti, I love that shop.
