Been a bit under the weather the past 36 hours or so with what I believe is just allergies. It's no fun having a cough and xhest irritation with all the Covid anxiety. As a result, I've been trying to smoke less and mix in more snus. Bored as hell.

Hope you feel better. I know it's tough but get through the allergies and you'll be back to it in no time....

Now smoking Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight late ‘50s, early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Community Coffee is my drink. Working on a couple of reviews that I'll post tomorrow.

If it's an 803 or 806, that's one Savinelli calls a Lumberman.?
I also thought perhaps a “lumbermanish” shape.
Went and checked what the stamp was, it’s stamped 811.

Found this on Smoking Pipes:

Savinelli's own unique neo-classical style has a way of producing some real eccentricities: hybrid shapes of sorts that, while extremely impressive in their lines and proportions, are somewhat difficult to place into one category or another. The "811" is certainly one of those shapes, sporting a tall Billiard bowl, a bold-jutting heel, and an elongated, down-turned, oval shank and stem. It makes for a striking profile to say the least,
