OGS (I opened my only tin recv'd 9/14, yesterday) in a Ropp Cherrywood Deluxe
I find that the age I've managed to put on this blend has improved its overall performance to me, and I attribute that to not only the aging, but the smoking experience I have accumulated in that same time frame.
I think that now I know the difference between the sharpness of a VA (especially when chuffed)or the spice of a perique and the sweet qualities of each can be appreciated as well.
My observation of the differences between a fresh tin of OGS and a tin that has a couple of years on it is that aging did improve the flavor of this blend significantly.
It is smoother, and somehow richer with time.
